Our son has been having maths and science online tuition with Lextra to help him with his studies while he has been unable to attend school due to the pandemic. We have been so impressed with Lextra that we are continuing his online tuition when he returns to school in September. The lessons are always interesting and challenging and Jonah and the tutors are so supportive and helpful. Our son has been given extra support to catch up with a topic he had missed due to starting part way through a term and the level of work he is learning is far above the level he is taught in school so he is really being supported and encouraged to aim for the best grades he can achieve. This was our first experience of tutoring outside of school and Lextra have more than exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them.

Our son has been having English, Maths and Science to support his school studies and he has benefited from the input from his tutors and Jonah. All his tutors have worked very closely with our son to gain more confidence, engage and improve his ability in all his subjects. His maths teacher Zach has been able to challenge him supportively with attention to the core skills needed in Maths.Both his English Teacher’s Jess and Blair have provided him exciting and detailed tasks as an extension of the lesson and he has enjoyed his work with them. We have been impressed with the attention to detail to his needs and more so during the Covid 19 when the centre went on line in April 2020. Resources provided are professional and even providing work booklets to support our son’s learning and moving into year 10 have been useful. Our son has a better grasp of exam technique and what he now needs to do to earn those important marks. More importantly it has gave him structure and opportunity to trial things out. The centre had worked in partnership with us as parents in addressing topics he should have covers in Year 9 and all his tutors have worked professionally and with purpose. I fully believe that Lextra Learning and in particular Jonah as a role model to our son has been instrumental in ensuring that our son reaches his full potential. We have liked Jonah’s approach and mentoring to our son when needed but with much encouragement and motivation. ‘Tough Love’ with high expectations. Thanks Jonah it is clear you want all children to do well as does all your tutors. A very supportive tuition provider with staff who genuinely care about the students' learning. Jonah and his team are doing an excellent job supporting the students through tuition sessions and also additional mid-week sessions to provide feedback on homework. My brother who is doing his GCSEs in Year 10 has been doing maths and science tuition with Lextra for the past three months now. He has found the sessions helpful and always has positive feedback after each lesson. Currently, lessons are taught in groups of 3/4 online via Zoom due to the lockdown situation. As another evidence of Lextra's dedication towards the students, the fact that they are always encouraging feedback from the parents and arranging parent/teacher sessions so that they can improve their services is reassuring. I would definitely encourage all parents and guardians considering tuition services for their kids to give Lextra Learning a go!
